Thanks for the info! Do you know if these demo CDs are available for purchase anywhere? I would love to get a copy of the song by Rachel York, in particular.

Thank you, Lovesclassics.
These demos are not available for purchase. They are only heard on BWW.com Radio, with the kind permission of Charles, the composers, and each of the artists.
Doesn't Rachel do a terrific Marilyn? Rachel will shortly be returning to the studio to record several more songs from ME AND MISS MONROE. I expect the full demo of the show to be available on BWW.com Radio soon, too.

Jose, you have made my day!!! If you haven't guessed by now, I am a huge Rachel York fan. I have compiled my own CD of everything of hers that is available on cast recordings. It's my favorite CD in my collection. I'm so glad to hear that she will be recording the full score of ME AND MISS MONROE. I'll look forward to hearing it on BWW.com radio. I have put in a request to hear "When the Camera Isn't There," but it hasn't come up in the rotation yet. I can't wait to hear it. Are there plans to develop M&MM into a stage production? Rachel would be terrific as Marilyn.

Dear Jose,
Thank you, thank you, thank you for this post. I have been listening to BWW.com radio all day as I've worked, and I have to say, the songs with lyrics by Charles Leipart are absolutely wonderful. "When the Camera Isn't There" from ME AND MISS MONROE and "Isn't She a Wonder?" from THE DOCTOR'S WIFE left me breathless. THE FROG PRINCE is great, too. I am very grateful.

Glad you enjoy them so.
Rachel and Greg both sing superlatively on their respective tracks, I think. "Isn't She A Wonder?" is one of my favorites, too. It's from the score of THE DOCTOR'S WIFE, a musical version of Flaubert's MADAME BOVARY, and it's sung by Doctor Bovary about his wife, Emma. Greg is great as Charles Bovary. Rachel is Marilyn Monroe. Wait till you hear her in the title song (not on bww.com yet).

I think these tunes are great. They have different song styles. I like that there are different selections from different shows. So it is a variety show on radio. I play piano and I hope to be able to get the songs in sheet music form someday.
