Although there were casting rumors before, here is the confirmed cast in print.

Strangely, the article makes no mention of who is playing any of the real life characters- Evelynn Nesbitt, Emma Goldman, Henry Ford, or Booker T. Washington.
I know Leigh Ann Larkin is rumored for Evelynn Nesbitt, but what about the others? and why call this "complete casting" when it isn't.
Also, sad to see Eric Jordan Young's talents wasted in the ensemble

Posted: 1/28/09 at 3:18pmI was about to say, Leigh Ann Larkin is probably Evelynn!! Then, nothing. Hmmmm

Posted: 1/28/09 at 3:28pmAdam Greer, I have a feeling that they didn't mention who was playing Evelyn Nesbitt, Emma Goldman, etc., because these people are all in the ensemble as well. I could see Donna Migliaccio as Emma Goldman.

Thanks, Dottie, that actually makes sense.
Maybe Eric Jordan Young is Booker T. Washington, then.

Great news for Leigh Ann, so glad it was finally "officially" announced.

I'm not familiar with either Quentin Earl Darrington or Jennlee Shallow. Still not all that excited about Christiane Noll as Mother.

Oh, wow, Leigh Ann Larkin! This looks great... although I was kind of hoping Brian Stokes Mitchell would reprise his role as Coalhouse, since I know he does a lot of stuff at the Kennedy Center (I'm hopefully seeing him there this weekend.)
The name I'm most excited about, though, is Tracy Lynn Olivera. I saw her in Les Miserables at the Signature Theatre as Fantine, and I was really impressed. It'll be awesome to see her again... I hope she gets a featured role, but I somehow doubt it, because I can't really see her as any of the major characters.
I'm going to the May 10th matinee... I'm bouncing up and down in my chair in anticipation as I type...

He's definitely familiar with the role of Coalhouse, having played the role at Papermill and on the Non-Equity tour.
And while I'm not an avid Noll fan, I'm highly anticipating her take on Mother.

I saw the production at Papermill. Usually I'm good at remembering people which means I probably wasn't too impressed with his performance there.
I was really hoping that Norm Lewis would be playing Coalhouse.

Haha, me, too, but I couldn't convince myself that he had reason to leave Mermaid...

Yes, he was the Coalhouse at PMP but as Dottie hinted at, not very rememberable. His performance was average to good but nothing outstanding or unique.... he fit the role but nothing else.
Very excited for Christiane to do Mother, though I probably won't see this production, I recently worked with her and she is so genuine and unbelievably talented!

Posted: 1/29/09 at 9:13pmRentBoy86, they only sell the $25 seats at the box office, so chances are there are still some available. If you look through their website it appears that those tickets are sold out. I'm going 3 different times, and I paid $25 for each ticket.

I for one am extremely glad Noll was cast. I have seen most everything she has done in DC and am excited to see what she does with this role.
Yay for Tracy Lynn Olivera too.

Isn't Christiane Noll like mega pregnant? She'll need to rebound fast.

Posted: 1/29/09 at 10:52pmOh thanks Dottie. Well, I don't live in DC, so that sucks, but maybe I can get a friend to help me out. Is the view that horrible from the $25 seats? It looks really far away on the website.
