when was the last time that the winners for Best Score and Best Book were from different shows?
just curios cause it usually is the same.

In 2000, James Joyce's The Dead won Best Book and Aida got Best Score.
It was in 2000. JAMES JOYCE'S THE DEAD won best book and AIDA won best score.

I'd say there's a chance of it happening this year, too. Spelling Bee's book is a standout, but the score isn't that great.
yea, thats what made me think of it. Spelling Bee's book is much more stronger.
Another interesting question would be concerning times when book, score, and musical have all gone to different shows. 2000 is a good example as Contact won the big prize that year despite having NEITHER the best book OR score on Broadway.
I have a strong feeling it will happen again this year.

i think it could happen again this year. 2000 was the last time though...
I'm sure Bee won't win Best Score, but a lot of the re-reviews said that they enjoyed the score more after hearing it a second time. Hopefully when the recording comes out, more people will feel that way.

that's usually how finn scores are... i wouldn't be surprised to see spam get musical, bee get book, piazza get score, and drs be completely shut out from those three. it would be sad, but i can see it.
I kinda agree APDarcy. Personally, I think DRS should get musical, Piazza score, and Bee book. I would absolutely love it, but I will be surprised if it happens(mostly in terms of DRS, the rest wouldn't surprise me).
