Books on costume design

Does anyone have recommendations for books on Broadway costume design? I need some information on the original production of Company, and how it incorporated styles of the time, so in general, I'm looking for something fairly historical, as opposed to the craft itself.

I don't know about any specific books, but there's a probably a theatrical bookstore floating around somewhere you live. They usually have ridiculously specific books. Try one of the big chain book store for more general books. Amazon also has pretty good selection of theatrical books, and a lot of them let you look at a few pages so you see what you're getting. You could also try the library.

I've certainly perused both bookstore and my university's libraries. It's a subject area I know very little about, and so I thought it would save me a lot of time wasted searching to just get specific recommendations from people who know better than I do. I'm not asking anyone to do the work for me; I'm perfectly capable of searching and I have been doing so. I'm just hoping that someone here might be able to point me in a specific direction. Then at least I would know what I was looking for, rather than spending hours aimlessly scouring databases, bookstores, and nine libraries. Sure, there's the old fashioned way and perhaps it makes me look lazy or stupid, but I don't have that kind of time.
