Just saw an article in the Boston Globe re. updated info on the Colonial Theater. Seems Emerson College has been accepting proposals from arts groups (local and international), consortiums, etc. interested in providing programming that would keep the theater lit/functioning. A decision may be reached this fall (the article also states Emerson has the right to refuse all proposals). It's at least a step in the right direction.
