"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter
One of my fave younger soap stars. It's too bad they've written his character into a hole. He's also one of the few soap actors I've met, and was very sweet (and yes, very gay friendly).

What is going to happen when it is revealed that Johnny shot out Anthony's tires and not Kate/Connie? I don't know how he won't be sent to prison. And poor Carly is saddled with another loser When will she ever learn?! Maybe this means Jax will come back though!
Marie: Don't be in such a hurry about that pretty little chippy in Frisco.
Tony: Eh, she's a no chip!
Jax will be back. He always does--I suspect pretty soon. And yeah, that's what I mean about being written into a hole, although Ron Carlivati is pretty adept at finding coonvulated reasons for someone not to end up in jail...
Isn't Barash in that kinda awful band made up by a couple of guys from GH?

Exactly. I love how in soaps, but particularly his writing, people get tossed in jail for relatively minor crimes (Cole on OLTL for example) to just get them off screen, when others do far more and always get out of it. Besides, he's now writing GH which has a (too long) history now of mobsters running around town doing what they will.
