Breakfast with Stephen Schwartz in Chicago

Broadway in Chicago hosted a breakfast with Mr. Schwartz and the producers of Wicked yesterday. They had a video presentation, took questions from the audience, and Mr. Schwartz played and sang "The Wizard and I" and "For Good". It was pretty amazing!

Why was he in Chicago? Why did I not hear about this?
Have they announced the touring cast yet?
I am so out of the loop!

It was sponsored by Broadway in Chicago to promote ticket sales. I just received my invitation late last week.

He said they auditioned for the tour last week and will hear people again on Nov. 15. He said that the leads would not be big names, but that most likely the Wizard and Morrible would be big names.

The producers talked about the set and what it will look like on the road, too.

What will the sets look like? That's so cool about the breakfast though. I wish i was invited.

They said they are bringing everything, including the dragon.
