The play IS great and it extended a bunch of times. But Maggie Smith's role is a breeze, with all the funny, memorable dialogue. Judi Dench was bitter and angry and crying for two hours and the lopsided writing meant she ended up being overshadowed in what seemed a thankless role.
Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.
