What a fabulously wonderful production. A stunning deconstruction of Thornton Wilder's legendary meta-theatrical play. The third act, complete with smell-o-vision, is utterly fascinating.
David Cromer is a fine Stage Manager (though his dry, matter-of-fact delivery is a bit jarring) and the rest of the cast is very strong. The woman who plays Emily (I don't have the program in front of me) is nice in the first 2 acts but lacks the depth required to make her 3rd act realization believable.
THIS is theater. Cromer is a helluva director.
And I can't do say anything else except "You must see this."
