I was watching the spectacular BBC Proms number 49, a salute to the film music of Rodgers and Hammerstein and the male lead, a guy named Julian Ovenden has a voice from heaven itself. So I googled him and among his current credits is a reading of the Bridget Jones Diary musical. Did I miss mention of this?

(Ps Sierra Bogress. Wow. What a voice and does she look amazing while she is performing. The closeups were beautiful.)

They done a reading not so long ago wth Sheridan Smith as Bridget. The music & lyrics are by a brittish singer songwriter: Lily Allen.

I believe Stephen Daldry had something to do with this although I could be wrong.

That's a superb rendition of Being Alive right up until the last moment when he does one of those embarrassing British attempts at American chutzpah.

The guy's father is Queen Elizabeth's private chaplain. Talk about being born with a silver spoon. More like gold. But he has a great voice.
