Is it any good?

Never heard it before but the cast is really strong. I was thinking of ordering it along with Spelling Bee off Sh-k-Boom...

The cast is very strong, but I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with the CD. Some of it is really great, and gets stuck in my head all the time, but a lot of it drags quite a bit, and I just couldn't get into some. I think it's worth having, though, because the cast is so strong. I just wish I liked it better, if that makes any sense.

I kinda have another question not related to anything about Bright Lights, Big City...

Is Allison in the Rent movie???? I was watching the trailer, as I do every night, and when Adam is singing towards the end of the trailer, he has really short hair and he is looking at this girl, they even have a close-up of her. And then it shows them kissing in an ally way...Anyone else noticed that?

Somebody, according to IMDB anyway, was cast as Allison. But the girl you're talking about is actually April.

As written, the part of Benny is too small for Taye (its not very deep, either). So, I'd assume that it would be expanded for the movie. It'd be hard to expand the part without including Allison.
