Interesting. Inge has really fallen out of favor over the years, hasn't he?
I'm not sure if it is a case of the plays showing their age, or just that they're getting terrible revival productions (i.e., the Broadway "Picnic" and "Bus Stop" revivals in the mid-90s).
Although speaking of that Picnic revival, I'm sure Deborah Monk could play Lola.
