I can see Britney as Amber Von Tussle in Hairspray, I can see Britney as Mimi in Rent, as Lois Lane in Kiss me, Kate, as Gypsy Rose Lee in Gypsy, but please!, not as Eliza!!!

Is this a joke??? Lerner and Lowe must be turning over in their graves, not to mention G.B. Shaw! Britney might be able to pull off Kim in "Bye Bye Birdie" but even with a lot of coaching, THAT would be a stretch! Who does she think she is - Melanie Griffith? LOL

Come on you guys lets make sacrifices for the sake of humor! I mean what if those music lovers out there stopped Florence Foster Jenkins or Wing? Life would not be nearly as beautiful. We need people like Britney to watch to make ourselves feel better! Britney all the way! This is one dvd I could not resist owning. Of course, I would only buy it if they taped a live performace and she didn't lip-sync.

i saw the britney concert on showtime the other night, and if you want proof of why this is out of the question, you should find out when they are airing it again.
