Have you ever seen an actor's family at shows...usually you can tell if they give the loudest applause out of the amount going on at the time.
When I saw Thoroughly Modern Millie, it happened to be Sheryl Lee Ralph's last day, and when she came for her bow, I heard people clapping and saying "Yay!!!" really loud, and looked behind me, and saw that it was probably her family.
Also, on the national tour of the Producers, I thought I saw Michael McCormick's (Franz Liebkind) family.

When I saw at Thoroughly Modern Millie the group of women next to me were friends with Leslie Uggams and seemed really sweet

If that's how we're judging it, I must be related to a LOT of Broadway actors and actresses

yea no kidding CJR. But in terms of real family members, I actually saw Donna, Bernadette's sister at the last performance of Gypsy. I actually walked into her by mistake and the poor thing was on crutches!

At Wicked, we saw Norbert Leo Butz's wife and children. He rushed out after the show to take his children home b/c it was a school night.

I've seen his kids too, after Wicked. I must say I am very impressed how he handles everything.
Eh, sorry...oops...

I have sat between a few families at hairspray and was ushered by Aja Maria's mother.
