I went last year while Rob McClure and Stephanie J. Block were working it. They have BCEFA buckets on the counter with some autographed playbills (I don't recall the price for that). Getting a picture with someone was I think $10. I went in the beginning of their shift so there weren't crowds so I was able to have a nice, small chat with Mr. McClure. He stood behind the counter taking orders and getting it together for you. SJB ended up on the street trying to convince people to go inside (it worked, as that day raised the most money for BCEFA). I saw a few videos of other days where the place was crazy. Since it's in the name of charity, people get creative with ideas and such.

thanks for the info.

i just saw they are 'live streaming' the week. Stephanie J. Block has been on for a minute and has been engaging already. i guess it depends on who is there for it to be not awkward to go and talk to them? i dont know...

Has anyone else had fun experiences at Broadway Bakes this week? Audra McDonald and Will Swenson drew huge crowds yesterday, and they were very nice and took lots of photos with people for $10. Sutton Foster didn't show up today, so it was just Joshua Henry and James Brown III. They were both very friendly, and Joshua Henry recorded a lot of outgoing messages for people; he made up some great songs.
