Does anyone know if there is a video of Broadway Bares 2006 as it looks amazing, I have seen clips and pictures and want to know more about it. No one in London has heard of it.

If you go to www.broadwaybeat.com and click on the Order Form, they offer videos and DVDs of the last few years of Broadway Bares. I believe it is US$35 for DVDs and US$25 for VHS. You may want to contact them before ordering and make certain that the DVDs/tapes will play on European players - I am not certain that the format is for all regions.

I received my copy of the DVD this weekend and it looks great (I saw it live in June). Unfortunately, the best part of Broadway Bares 16, Cyndi Lauper's showstopping rendition of "True Colors," is not included on the DVD. In fact, even the introduction of her in the curtain call is cut out. I assume this is due to contract issues with her label. Oh well, it was still a great show and the DVD is a nice representation of it.
