I was reading a post on All That Chat that mentioned about getting tickets to Gypsy from Broadway Cares. I looked at the website, but it didn't say anything about prices. And the one post said that they're quite a bit more expensive than normal. Would this be just like ordering Premium Tickets for around $250 from Telecharge?

Broadway Cares charges double the ticket price.....so $100 ticket would be $200. Of course, perhaps they have changed their pricing since the last time I used them (which was for Hairpsray a few months ago), so you should call them directly. You get a tax deduction on the non-ticket price, and the seats are excellent. The staff is very helpful, returns calls promptly, and I have never had a problem when I went through Broadway Cares.

Well, as long as the seats are very good, as you said, I would not mind paying it. I like to see the performers' facial expressions...and the Orchestra Row S just wouldn't cut it for me. Which is practically all Telecharge has left. And all the tickets left are farrrr left or right. I'm picky, I know.
The number is 212-840-0770 ext. 229, 230 or 263. BC/EFA refers to them as "Care-Tix" and I believe calling is the only way to get them.

I've also heard from many people that the seats and service are both well worth it.
And....what could be better than giving that extra money NOT to the scalpers but to a wonderful charity like BC/EFA!!
