I want to make a Christmas CD for next year, using Christmas songs from Broadway shows.
For now I can think of
- "We Need a Little Christmas" from MAME
- "Pine Cones and Holly Berries" from HERE'S LOVE
- "Happy Holidays", "White Christmas" and "Snow" from WHITE CHRISTMAS
Any others, please?
"Be a Santa" Subways are for Sleeping
"Greenwillow Christmas" Greenwillow
"Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" from Meet Me in St. Louis. (Yes - it was a Broadway musical)
"I Don't Remember Christmas" from Starting Here, Starting Now
"Turkey Lurkey Time" from Promises, Promises
"Surabaya Santa" and "Christmas Lullaby" from Songs for a New World
"Hard Candy Christmas" from The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas
"Twelve Days to Christmas" from She Loves Me
"Lovers on Christmas Eve" from I Love My Wife
Also, David Friedman's "My Simple Christmas Wish" isn't from a show, that I know of, but I'd consider it a theatre song. Emily Skinner sings it on her solo disc.

maybe "Christmas Bells" from RENT? it doesn't really get you in the Christmas spirit, but it's Christmas-y. i'll post more if i can think of them.
I'm planning on putting "December Snow" from December Songs and "I Remember", which Streisand put on her Christmas album, on my Christmas CD.
Not very festive, but how about "Merry Christmas Maggie Thatcher" from Billy Elliot?
