Hey!
My church's fall fair somehow go their hands on a old Playbill diary someone kept (no idea who) and it is full of original newspapaer and playbill clipings from Broadway plays and musical fromt he 20's and 30's.
Does anyone know how much something like this could sell for or where I could go to get it priced! Thanks!

Posted: 10/1/06 at 5:10pmGet the name and date of the show and then try a search on ebay. The site of the merchant Broadway!!! (must include the !'s) is very good.

What is the show, what are the dates, who was in the cast?
Ebay isn't a good tool to use for pricing information. I have purchased many old, rare, and impossible to find Playbills on Ebay for things they could have sold for $100+, and I ended up paying under $5.

That's why I sent him to Paul Ydste (Broadway!!!) who is not a "starting bid .99" kinda guy.
Theater programs haven't taken off like comic collecting and prices fluxuate wildly. I've paid 100.00 plus for programs I bought a second copy of got 2.00.
Date, name of show, the theater and the names of the cast members in bolder print (or on the front page) would help.
