If you do nothing else this summer take a trip out to Gettysburg, PA and see "For The Glory" at the Majestic Theater in the heart of this historic area.

The company includes Rob Evan, Michael Lanning, Keith Byron Kirk and Bart Shatto, along with some other extraordinary performers who you will eventually see on Broadway. They are all that good.

See the battlefields first and then the show... The experience is worth the trip.

My parents have their tickets already. Of course, they really don't need another excuse to go to Gburg, but now with me graduated from the college I guess they need to look for other "reasons."

It's a beautiful town and the Majestic has never looked better. Trust me - I saw it in its former movie house form (not pretty). So take a trip to good ol' Gburg.

And if you need resturant/hotel advice, just let me know!

My brother is a Civil War reenacter so I've been to Gettysburg many times. I'll have to see if I can catch the show.

I'm sad to hear that they are trying to get casinos in there. It ruins the quiet beauty of the town. Of course I was not happy when they put up that ugly tower. Gettysburg needs to remain small and quiet.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
