But when did New Hampshire become--Such a backward wasteland of seatbelt hating crazies?...I mean, only 40 people actually live there. The others are just visitors who come for the tax-free liquor and three inches of novelty coastline. John Hodgeman on The Daily Show (1-30-07)

re: Broadway Ghosts

Oh, I have read that story before. It's so sad. Supposedly a horse-drawn carriage was passing by and it either hit her or kicked by one of the horses. She stumbled back on to her feet and then went into the theater. But when the curtain fell and the lights came up, she was found dead in her seat. It is such a sad story. re: Broadway Ghosts

Thanks for the link, though! I had totally forgotten about that story 'til now. It's one of my favorite ghost stories!

re: Broadway Ghosts

billygoatgirl, there are lots, literally hundreds, of ghost stories on-line, theatrical and otherwise. Google or Yahoo the words "theatre ghost stories" or something like it. You'll probably turn up more than you have time to read. But it would be fun. Also try "haunted theatres". Hope this helps.

re: Broadway Ghosts

Creepy!!! Michael Crawford experienced some of these "friendly ghosts" once when he was in London playing the Phantom. His cape got stuck, but someone shoved him out...when he looked back, there was no one there!

Thank the Lord these ghosts are here to help.
