Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 10/18/15

If you are not, you should force yourself to become familiar with the irrelevance of the number of bodies that are in seats at a given show. What matters is that Amazing Grace is losing well into 6 figures each and every week, as a prelude to losing its entire capitalization. Fun Home is making money. Gotta get your eyes on the ball.

Anybody have an estimate or guess at Fun Home's weekly running cost? Curious how close they are to recouping.

Circle in the square is a 700 seat theatre. Nederlander is a 1000-ish seat theatre. do the math.

The thing is, besides being an utter toad of a human being, Riedel usually has the least knowledge of the topic in the room. He doesn't usually understand the content or approach of a show, and is always completely and unfailingly socially ignorant, which makes it really infuriating when Susan can't get a word in edgewise. A definitive mansplainer; it's always painful when he has female guests. I watch the show sporadically when I really want to see a guest, because it's the only theatre talkshow we have, but it would be so much better without this hateful clown in a dadcoat. I just checked five random dates over the next 3 weeks and each had plenty of seats for Misery. So seems pretty easy to see Willis still at this point.

I know who Jim Parsons is, Have to Google Keira Knightly, have no idea who she is.

^^^ You assure people of a LOT of things. "Kelli O'Hara is NOT ill, and I assure you if she is ill it was a planned illness."

Do you really imagine I don't get that. So rude.

Why don't you go? Why don't you leave Manderley? He doesn't need you... he's got his memories. He doesn't love you, he wants to be alone again with her. You've nothing to stay for. You've nothing to live for really, have you?
