I have to assume War Paint is not expensive to run. It's a perfectly fine show. The material has its weaknesses but I don't know why it's having trouble finding an audience. Even by Broadway standards, the audience was notably older and less diverse. I don't know what they need to do to expand their reach.
I think Anastasia will be fine unless the combination of Mean Girls and Frozen takes it out. The thing with one of those shows being a success is that, for example, if Frozen is sold out for a few months, then it can't compete with Anastasia except in advance sales. But both of them together might eat into the audience that's left after everyone who initially wanted to see Anastasia has already been to see it. But I wouldn't worry until major discounts start showing up.
