Posted: 8/20/05 at 11:45pmI was there! It was awesome! Mainly because it was my first Bway in Bryant park visit, so i was excited. I wasn't too impressed with lennon. ASU and LK were awesome though.

I was there.
ALL SHOOK UP was great.
LENNON was also great to watch, although you couldn't fully appreciate it in the park. It was kind of a snippet of each of the songs performed, rather than completely performed.
But, without the costumes and staging, I found the LION KING boring. This was the second time I had seen LION KING done in Bryant Park (last year, too), and it was boring each time without the costumes and staging...hmmm
No complaints, though; it's wonderful to see Broadway done for free in the park; and the performers are very welcoming.
