Posted: 6/27/07 at 11:19pmSince Wilmington, DE has quite a few shows a year at the DuPont Theatre, I thought it would be nice to start a thread for the Delaware Broadway fans. I do not live in WIlmington, but I have seen a couple shows there. I know there have to be some other people on BWW from Delaware that would like to share their experiences at the ritzy DuPont Theatre.
"I mean, sitting side by side with another man watching Patti LuPone play Rose in GYPSY on Broadway is essentially the equivalent of having hardcore sex." -Wanna Be A Foster.
"Say 'Goody.' Say 'Bubbi.'" ... "That's it. Exactly as if it were 'Goody.' Now I know you're gonna sing 'Goody' this time, but nevertheless..."

Posted: 6/27/07 at 11:44pmThe DuPont has had quite a few great seasons, but I don't really care for the 07-08 season they've posted. I haven't actually seen a show there, even though I'm local. I've heard good things, though. It usually takes a trip into Philly to have access to a wider selection of shows, since there are so many theatres there and Wilmington only has the one.
