Anyone know when they plan to announce their new season?
I'm trying to guess which shows will make up the season, based on other major cities' seasons and what the Ahmanson already has booked. Perhaps Gypsy and Fiddler? Also, according to the announcement on their website, it looks like The Color Purple will be a Broadway LA season show, but it will be housed at the Ahmanson.
I really hope All Shook Up is in their season, or else I'll have to go to the OCPAC or San Diego to go see it.

I think All Shook Up tour has cancelled all stops in 07-08 season. I'm not quite sure though.
They'll announce it when they will, probably.
OCPAC's was announced on Playbill a few days ago.

spelling be is the end of the 06-07 season... the 07-08 season is supposed to be announced within the first two week of april. so soon then!
I've only seen the 2007-2008 Ahmanson season which is Avenue Q, Color Purple and A Chorus Line with bonus options of My Fair Lady, Sweeney Todd and Drowsy Chaperone. I just sent in my renewal. I also saw the following notice on the BroadwayLA website
"We are thrilled to announce that THE COLOR PURPLE will also be included as part of the BROADWAY/L.A. 2007-2008 SEASON.
Anyone renewing season tickets for the 2007-2008 Broadway/L.A. Season will be assigned best available seats for THE COLOR PURPLE based on subscriber seniority. All new subscribers will also be assigned tickets for this engagement."

Wow. How pathetic can this season be for Broadway LA!!! Wicked must MOVE!
Wow, its a bizarre season but I guess there was not much they could do with Wicked at the Pantages. Still, having Spamalot in Vegas as one of the bonus options is kinda different.
and where exactly would Wicked move to? It's not like we have a dearth of huge theatres here.

^ They should pack up and move to San Francisco.
Pantages is the best house in LA I think and it just makes me frustrated when shows like that take up the theatre for an open-ended run.
