To those of you who were there, how was Raul Malo’s performance of “Being Alive"?

NCGuy- Being Alive was great. Those first few lines, with Malo's haunting voice, completely gave me chills.

I think I liked his duet with Renee Elise Goldsberry just a smidge more, and not for the song they sang, but for the fact that they were totally joking with each other on stage beforehand...
Raul: I just had to let everyone know that this song was my prom song. True story. By the second verse? I was making out.
Renee Elise: Yeah, and that's why they gave me the second verse. :)
(as paraphrased by me), and I just thought they were so good together.

AND- I walked past Raul Malo on my way out of the venue, he was just in the general lobby area, chatting with people, no stage door exit or anything for him I guess. Which was cool.

Unfortunately I have STILL not heard that XM broadcast since my techie friends let me down on the download. But since you had the good taste to appreciate mi amado Raul, I am trusting you on the rest of the show. Do you know if any of it is available to non-XM consumers yet?
