Dear fans and friends~

I just wanted to take a moment out to let you in on something that has been a personal passion of mine for the last few months.

Just to give a little background, I am a professionally trained performer who, after being down on his luck for a period of time a couple of years ago, decided to branch out and try a new style of performing--drag!

My love, passion, and drive for theatre has always remained constant and I still strive to work professionally again. Until then, I consider what I am doing an extensive character study. Every major production I do has a level of charity or benefit involved. On March 26th, in COlumbus, Ohio, I will be hosting an encore performance of a Broadway-themed show entitled A MILLION LITTLE NINAS. This encore performance will serve as a benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and The Columbus AIDS Task Force. Since late November, I have been working on contacting people, trying to get items donated for a wonderful Broadway Memorabilia auction for these two organizations. Items from many theatre notables are still coming in but I just wanted to share with all of you some of the things I have received and share some thanks and gratitude to a community that is so tightly knit and supportive of one's efforts.

Kristin Chenoweth has sent a gorgeous signed glossy from her 2004 Carnegie Hall appearance. The nicest note was included. She is incredible.

Patti LuPone sent a signed Playbill from Sweeney.

Marc Shaiman, a musical god, sent a signed copy of the book HAIRSPRAY: The Roots.

The cast of DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS came together and signed a Playbill for auction.

Chita Rivera sent a gorgeous signed head shot and signed Playbill.

Jim J. Bullock and the National Touring Company of Hairspray sent a signed can of Ultra-Clutch for auction!

BC/EFA has donated five signed show cards to the effort from the shows SWEET CHARITY, RENT, THE PRODUCERS, THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA, and WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOLFE.

Signed items donated from private collections include:

A signed show program from SUNSET BOULEVARD signed by Glenn Close.

A Signed Playbill from the Las Vegas Cast of Avenue Q.

A Signed showcard from the original cast of ALTARBOYZ.

And I just got word today that other items are on their way from the fabulously wonderful Jim Caruso and CAST PARTY as well as the multi-talented Gloria Estefan.

The reason I write all of this on the board is because my excitement is real as is this very important cause. Again, should any of these individuals be on the boards, I thank you for helping make a difference. It all means so much! And you too can get involved. Drop me a line on here or visit my website for my email!

This is a love thread to thank all of these incredible individuals who are helping make a difference in someone's life that has been affected by HIV/AIDS. I will keep y'all updated as more items come in (keeping fingers crossed) and as the event gets closer. Once it is all said and done, I will let y'all know the finally tallies of the donation that will be made to these two very deserving organizations!

I am so excited and so proud to report the news from my Sunday night benefit show for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and the Columbus AIDS Task force. There is still some final tallying going on, but a donation will be made to both organizations totaling $2500.00 each. This is a wonderful mark of love in support in Columbus, Ohio for these organizations. It could not have been done without the support of the New York theatre community.

As finals numbers are tallied, I will report back with the final donations but at this stage, I am so proud to have done this for the community!

All the best-
Andrew
