Wow.

This book is an amazing achievement, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

While one may quibble with the choosing of the actual "101 Greatest Shows of all Time," one cannot help but be amazed at the gorgeous photographs and the witty and erudite prose provided by Ken Bloom and Frank Vlastnik.

And it's a total bargain, for the price. Put it on the top of your Christmas list, or buy it for a musical theatre fan friend.

(My favorite bit of info was the Gwen Verdon/SWEET CHARITY story of how she prorated a ticket refund. Hysterical, and I had never heard it before.)
