Thanks for the heads up on that, Rob. Frank Rizzo gets better every year. It certainly explains in plain English why the criticism of one person on this board is wrong-headed, that the producers are moving the show to Broadway out of greed!
I also love his (and John Lahr's) assesment of the show. He really hit the nail on the head when he wrote, "...[Caroline] gives a soliloquy that is as shattering a tour de force as 'Rose's Turn' from 'Gypsy' or 'I'm Telling You I'm Not Going' from 'Dreamgirls.'"
It's true. As is his recommendation: "[The] musical is still a stunner, and one I would recommend to anyone not just looking for escapism."
