Just got an e-mail from Ticketmaster saying Broadway On Ice was coming to my area this February and tickets are now on sale.

Tried a search, no luck.

What is this BROADWAY ON ICE? Is it new?

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

The real question is, will Tara Lipinski take over for Cheno in Wicked?

I starred in a short film called Magnetic Personality. Check it out!

Broadway On Ice consists of rotating productions of Broadway gems that are performed by ice skaters. The shows include:

A LONG DAY'S JOURNEY ONTO ICE

DEATH OF AN ICEMAN

THE ICEMAN GOETH

BAREFOOT ON THE ICE

MOURNING BECOMES AN ICE RINK

A TOBOGGAN NAMED DESIRE

CAT ON A ICED TIN ROOF

ARSENIC AND OLD SKATES

A SNOWBALL IN THE SUN

MOTHER COURAGE AND HER ICE SKATES

SIX CHARACTERS IN SEARCH OF AN ICE SKATE

On GOLDEN ICE SKATING POND

Certainly this is a novel approach to live theater. I hope it catches on.

Dammit MusicalComedyMan, I was about to make a similar joke about Jekyll & Hyde! I enjoy the show a great deal but I've never heard a score so perfectly written for figure skating.

"The last train out of any station will not be full of nice guys." - Dr. Hunter S. Thompson

"I wash my face, then drink beer, then I weep. Say a prayer and induce insincere self-abuse, till I'm fast asleep"- In Trousers

Is this a joke or is it serious? It all sounds like a Bialystock & Bloom production.

There is also a rumor... and i"m NOT one to spread rumors... but I've heard from a friend that works for Dodger, that Bare is actually going to be put on ICE at the new Dodger Theatre space. AND they are bringing in Toyna Harding as the hardluck girl that gets pregnant... and her new song is Can't I Do It Over!!!

There is actually a BROADWAY ON ICE, but mostly all above are joking.
