Has anyone ever taken this tour? It's a walking tour and you get to see the interior of some theatres.

Oh, so now they are charging you just to walk into Broadway theaters! I guess the exhorbitant ticket prices aren't keeping the producers rolling in dough.

I've taken this tour! Its definatley not as much of a rip-off as Dollypop implies. You actually walk by all the Broadway Theatres, and hear the archetectural and theatrical history of each one. (of course you can also just pick up a great book on the subject--like the Shubert Archive's new book) It helps to have an enthusiastic guide, which I was lucky enough to experience. We went in the Eugene O'Neill and Walter Kerr theatres when Proof and The Full Monty were in residence. I loved being able to see these interiors without paying a $100 ticket!!! But unfortunatley, because of rigid saftey and legal reasons, we couldn't go backstage. I liked the tour, but then again for me, seeing the interior of a great theatre is ALMOST exciting as seeing a great show!
