How much would one expect to make as an actor in a Broadway show? Obviously, a big star (i.e. Hugh Jackman, Nathan Lane, etc.) would make more than a younger actor with a lesser name. But how much would you get paid, say, if you were in the ensemble of a show like GOOD VIBRATIONS or ALL SHOOK UP?
I know that the theatrical community started a fund in order to pay Andrew Lloyd Webber to write a musical again. Unfortunately we didn't raise enough.

Broadway minimum, which is the least you can make to be in the ensemble of a show, is $1381 a week.

but "big shots" like Hugh Jackman, Bernadette Peters... they definitely make a lot more don't they? or Principles at least, right?
I know what Carol Channing made per week on "Hello, Dolly!" in the last revival and What Robert Goulet made on "Camelot" approximately

broadwaybaby, yes the 'big shots' make more. A minimum is called a minimum for a reason.
I believe that those "big shots" can make anywhere from $25,000 to $100,000 a week. Good money!
I've heard that the record goes to Michael Crawford for Dance of the Vampires, but I may be wrong.

I think Broderick and Lane set a new record with their $100,000 a week for coming back to The Producers. The highest I've heard of outside of that is $50,000 a week.
Keep in mind that those stars making those huge salaries are most likely also getting a percentage of the box office which can raise those salaries substantially. $50,000 o $20,000 would be the base, but the checks could actually be for quite a bit more.
