Henry Higgins bought it for Eliza and she threw it across the room. I think. I know she gave it back.

Hmmmm. I think she gives it back to him - it's before she throws the slippers, right? Or maybe HE tosses it away. He definitely doesn't feed it to the bird.

loves classics gets the important twist.

you were correct, joey. Eliza takes the ring off her finger and give it back to Higgins, who flings it across the room.

After he walks out, Eliza quickly finds the ring and keeps it.
