Frederick Loewe? This seems too easy.

It was Kurt Weill for the 1948 Love Life, sung by Nanette Fabray and ray Middleton. A very interesting show, by all accounts, including mine.

Every movement has a meaning--but what the hell does it mean!

CONGRATS to Miriam!

Alan Jay Lerner wrote the lyrics to "I Remember It Well" twice, each a different song with a different composer.

Kurt Weill, for the Broadway musical LOVE LIFE, A Vaudeville
Frederick Loewe, for the musical film GIGI

I think a recording of "Love Life" is of the utmost necessity. It seems almost a crime that there is a Weill score that has went unrecorded!! (Not to mention Lerner lyrics we have yet to enjoy). I wonder if any record producers would be up for it...
