Last Sunday I went to go see Bradway Series Hairspray and I was wondering if anyone else saw it. I saw it in Sacramento, California and it was great. That Tracy had a different way of singing her "Oh, Oh, Oh" It wasn't quite like the one on Broadway's but Tracy pulled off some great notes. I officially love Penny! She's soooo funny! They did an incredible job at casting Motormouth, she sang "I Know Where I've Been" amazing! So, I was just wondering if anyone cam to see it. I enjoyed it and was hoping to talk to someone else about it so just post what you think if you saw it.

I saw the broadway show last thursday. I have to admit that I was impressed. I never expected Tracy to have that much energy, she was unreal. Amber and Link were less than par. Bruce Vilance was outstanding, did not think that I would buy him as Edna, but he truly made it his own. But I have to admit, there were two "Nicest Kids in Town" that truly stood out amongst the cast, at many times upstaging the leads with thier energy. (In a good way)Leslie Kritzer ( from the off broadway Godspell, and Batboy) and Peter Matthew Smith. They were incredible!!! Penny was played buy an understudy and she was wonderful. SO glad I finally went to see that show!!!

<< Gavin Creel and Kate Baldwin making vocal love... I adore these two.
