Hey Y'All... I am planning a trip for my mom and I for Spring Break in March.... I have been to NYC before and seen Wicked, The Color Purple w/LaChanze, Beauty & the Beast, Tarzan and The Drowsy Chaparone and I went to the 60th Annual Tony Awards....
My mom hasn't been to NYC- So, I was wondering where should we stay!?
These are the shows I think we should see... Put in your input please!
YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN
IN THE HEIGHTS
WICKED
THE COLOR PURPLE
JERSEY BOYS
SPRING AWAKENING
thanks everyone, im excited to hear what you think!

The tour is going to start up soon so I would say wait for the tour to come to you and catch something else. Personally, I much rather catch something new in my limited time in NYC.

Definitely see IN THE HEIGHTS. Don't miss it.
And yeah, I too would recommend Curtains and Xanadu over seeing shows you've already seen.

Xanadu,
Spring Awakening if I can get stage seats,
and now, south pacific if its open by then
I have time for 2 more shows. This depends on whats playing at the Met and I might do Forbidden Broadway

well i know my mom loved In the Heights and Jersey Boys if that helps lol. Jersey boys is one of my favorite plays on Broadway (hense the avator) if you can get tickets for that i would DEFINITELY reccomend it.
of the ones on your list, I've also seen Spring Awakening and Wicked and I liked both though SA doesn't really strike me as a show you'd see with a parent, but maybe that's just me.
Cages or wings? Which do you prefer? Ask the birds. Fear or love, baby? Don't say the answer Actions speak louder than words. (Tick, Tick... BOOM!)
