Seeing the popular thread about Broadway stars with Myspace accounts, it got me thinking. Do any Broadway stars have a Facebook account? I know Paul McGill from A Chorus Line has one. Are there any others?
Jason Robert Brown added me on Facebook in December. I was so freaking excited. And all the kids from 13 had written on his wall. And he just wrote a note asking for a personal assistant... :)
And since I'm a total stalker, I've discovered that Erich Bergen has a facebook too, but I think he's less liberal about adding people on it than he is on his myspace.
I agree, definitely doubt that Facebook would be used over myspace in helping publicize themselves. Facebook seems more personal if that can even be said than myspace in this situation.
Facebook if for people you KNOW, commonly...I suggest you don't go friending people if you don't know them in real life unless they offer so in other ways.
How to properly use its/it's:
Its is the possessive. It's is the contraction for it is...
I admit, I draw the line with Facebook, they probably started it in college, and use it to keep in touch with friends from there/high school, so having a lot of fans cluttering their walls must be annoying as sin.
Facebook is much more about people than commercialism. IF you plan on requesting someone facebook to be your friend, you really should know them personally. If i were an actor, I'd be creeped out if a ton of people I didn't know facebooked me. It's just much more private than Myspace.
