This is a work in progress. I will be constantly adding to it until it is finished. I list the name of the theater, former theater names, #'s of seats, date it opened & the name of the first show. Here we go:

OK - Case closed - I thought people would be interested but I was wrong - I have no intention of going through all of this & the first thing out of the box says why. Thanks Chinkie as you saved me a lot of extra work

To Broadway Star - You are correct . You can finish this if you want as I am done. Go to the website Chinkie mentioned . I thought people might be interested in this & I was wrong.No sweat.

Well, ok, but I only know a few:

The Ford Center- The Lyric & The Apollo- 1903(Lyric)1910(Apollo)- technically, the first show was Ragtime, Jan. 18, 1997

New Amsterdam-10/26/1903- Midsummer Night's Dream
