Broadway Theater Stage Height

I've done a search but could not find this info. How is the view sitting in the first row of the Broadway Theater for Promises, Promises? Is the stage very high? How does it compare to the Palace Theater - I saw All Shook Up there from the first two - never again. When we saw Legally Blonde we got Front Mezz.

The stage there for Shrek was really high. I'd definitely advise against it.

I saw PROMISES from first row, center section. The stage is exceedingly high. I feel like I saw half the show--the top half. Anyone standing far downstage was visible except for his or her feet. Anyone far upstage was visible from the neck up. I may go again just to assure myself that the dancers do have legs.

Thanks for the responses. That's what I was afraid of. I'm looking to get tickets for my sisters birthday and a pair in the left side row B came up. I remember All Shook Up from the front row and I also felt like I saw half a show. We did not know the whole cast was wearing blue suede shows at the end until we stood up!
