Broadway Ticket Buying Strategy

Okay, this is a totally flawed theory, I realize - but I am trying to get an idea of what would be the best route to go.
I would like to buy tickets for Dirty Rotten Scoundrels for my upcoming trip to New York (November).
I really want to try and give myself the best possible chance at seeing Norbert Leo Butz and as many of the other leads as possible.
Which of the following shows would be the most likely: Sunday mat, Tuesday night, Wednesday night.
I am going to be going on the week of Thanksgiving, so Wednesday night seems like a bad fit. I was thinking probably the Sunday mat since that would allow Sun night and Monday off.
Again, I realize this is all speculation and really just conversation for conversations sake - but how would you guys rationalize it?

Check if there is a special Friday-immediately-after-Thanksgiving-day performance. I think there usually are for most shows. I attended one such performance in 2003 for The Boy from Oz, also at the Imperial.
I have seen DRS - I'm sure you will like it.

I am actually leaving NY in the middle of the day on Thanksgiving.
I'll be there Saturday night-Thursday afternoon.
I have Wicked tickets for Wednesday mat and U2 tickets for Monday evening. Other than that, I am holding out for some good ticket deals/Sweeney Todd to go on sale etc and to pick a night for DRS.
