You will be able to tell just how strong those unplugged voices are!
I went to one of the Broadway Year (whatever it is called) when I was in NY and the unplugged part was by far my favorite. Nancy Anderson was magnificent! And I had just seen her in WT that week.
This really a show would have liked to see.

Posted: 9/28/04 at 11:28amAttended last night's sold-out performance - it was excellent! Except for some audience coughing and unwrapping of candies etc, the sound heard was just from the performers (one by one) and small orchestra. They were all excellent (even from 3/4 back in the orchestra), with each gathering applause requiring encore bows. Each sang one song, all different varieties, with in-between intros and history of miced vs un-miced performances given by the miced mc (great job). An extremely enjoyable evening! I'll leave the details to better critics that were likely in attendance, but I have absolutely no negatives to report regarding the show!
