To each and every musical lover out there --
I just wanted to give you a quick reminder that "Broadway Unplugged" will be at Town Hall this Monday, September 27th. For anyone who has not yet heard the buzz about the show, it's from critic/author Scott Siegel (creator of the "Broadway By the Year Series," also at Town Hall) and is an opportunity to hear pure human voices singing Broadway show tunes without the aid (or the blare) of electronic amplification. The Broadway By the Year performances were averaging 6 off-mike songs per night and they absolutely stopped the show!
The cast includes Broadway and cabaret luminaries such as: Nancy Anderson, Christine Andreas, Stephanie J. Block, Michael Cerveris, Chuck Cooper, B.J. Crosby, Bill Daugherty, Darius de Haas, George Dvorsky, Debbie Gravitte, Ann Harada, Cady Huffman, Ludmilla Ilieva, A.J. Irvin, Alix Korey, Marc Kudisch, Euan Morton, Julia Murney, Alice Ripley, Mary Testa, and more!!!
