I just received this email notice from 106.7:

CANCELLATION NOTICE FOR 7/15/04

106.7 Lite fm regrets to announce that due to poor weather conditions, Bryant Park has announced the closing of the lawn today. As a result, "Broadway in Bryant Park" for Thursday, July 15th has been CANCELLED.

However, be sure and join us next Thursday, July 22nd, when Lite fm air personality, Al Bernstein will introduce performers and excerpts from FROM MY HOMETOWN, BEAUTY & The BEAST, PHANTOM of the OPERA & THE LION KING.

Too bad!!! I was looking forward to all three shows...guess they'll divide them up and stick them each on different days...hope they'll announce what's going when!

what shows? What shows were scheduled for today? I'm from Boston so somewhat out of the loop however some friends and I may be coming down on the 29th :)

Radio station 106.7 Lite FM presents "Broadway in Bryant Park," featuring current and upcoming stageshows and artists performing Starting July 8 and continuing every Thursday through Aug. 19, the event plays at the park from 12:30 PM to approximately 1:45 PM.
