Posted: 6/28/07 at 2:16pmJuly Second, in Grant Park, it's billed as "Blockbuster Hits at the Taste of Chicago" with numbers from Wicked, Color Purple, Spelling Bee and the new stage version of High School Musical. I don't know much more than that-- anyone?

I was at the taste today, but we could not stay down there untill six. I was very disappointed. 
"Leave Walt Disney Theatricals new sparkling production of The Little Mermaid on Broadway alone!!!"

Posted: 7/3/07 at 1:03amI think you might be thinging of something else... Unless I am mistaken, which is entirely possible. But I never heard of them passing out free tickets at the Taste. And there were 3 shows performing, so I don't think BIC would be giving away free tickets to 3 seperate shows.

Posted: 7/4/07 at 8:25pm2 years ago, if you had a big gold star in your program (that they handed to everyone) you won a pair of tickets to select shows. I remember Wicked, Little Shop of Horrors, Annie, and Joseph were among the tickets you could win.
