The Circle in the Square Theatre will co-produce the Off-Broadway run of Ronan Noone's one-man play, THE ATHEIST, which stars Campbell Scott and is directed by Justin Waldman.

Circle joins the Culture Project, where the show runs beginning on Oct. 7 at the Barrow Street Theatre.

YAY! Campbell Scott back on stage in God knows how long!

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

While the show is terrific, I don't think it will have a Broadway life at all. The subject matter is too off-putting for a lot of the people and the character, even though Scott is amazing, is pretty unlikable.

That said, I'm excited this production will be coming to NY. Did anyone see it with Chris Pine a couple of years ago?
