I'm taking my 9 year old niece who just adores broadway and can sing any song from TMM!

I've been to the last 3 Broadway on Broadways, but now I'm at college and I can't go b/c the city is million miles away!
And I dont have cable in my room, so I cant even watch the airing later this week!
Does anyone know what songs are going to be performed, and by who?? And is someone going to tape the show from the television?

I hate going but I probably will anyway or I'll feel like I missed out on something.
It is seriously the MOST irritating event. You stand there like sardines... it's usually really hot and loud and tourists stampede you... and it does NOT matter how early you get there, you still manage to get thrown back somehow... so not fair.

I feel bad though... My RA just came in and was like 'Hey I'm trying to plan a day at the zoo for the floor! Are you busy on Sunday?' and he's so adorable and I felt so bad being like 'Yes, I'm going to Broadway on Broadway. Sorry!'

I'm gettin there around 6:30 I think. And Daisy your right, no matter how early you get there you always get shoved around. I dunno i just love it though...crazy crowd and all!

nah i don't think you can bring chairs cuz it's like a billion ppl packed into a tiny area. Also they don't even let you sit down really cause they say it's fire hazard...go figure...you're outside! I know 6:30 is ungodly but what can I say..I'm devoted! Hold on I'll get you a list of performers in a few minutes.

These are the shows that are performing but I don't know about the actual performers and songs. The list of shows that participates seems to diminish every year...I wonder why they don't want to be involved. It seems like a really fun event to perform at. Ohh well it'll still be fun.

Is Broadway on Broadway definitely only broadcast in the New York area? Is it possible it could be broadcast in, say, North Carolina?
Also, is it usually the stars from the shows who perform, or the standbys/understudies?

No it's usually the stars that perform. 2 years ago Sutton's understudy went on instead of her but otherwise I haven't seen that.
