Posted: 1/18/06 at 2:23pmI don't know exactly what it was... but it was supposed to come to Raleigh through Broadway Series South... but it was cancelled or something. I guess they weren't counting on a bunch of people going (shoot, I was going!)... but it had Dorothy Hamill (I think) and some other skaters. They were supposed to skate to various bway songs (some from Chicago) and do a scene or two... something like that... But I really wish I could have gone! It looked super!

Yeah I only heard about this because of Davis Gaines posting it on his website. I thought it was strange. I use to be a skater, so brodway and skating together...could be cool.
Off topic, one of the skaters in "Stars on Ice" did two numbers. Her first one was "And the Beat Goes On" sung by Liz Callaway, and then the second was Heather Headley. It was so great!

Wendy - It was at 3:00 PM. Regular skating had resumed by 5:00.
It sounds like it could've been interesting.
