Broadway on Queer Eye

Queer Eye is having a marathon today, and the episode that was just on was the one with the Broadway reading. John Tartaglia and Hunter Foster were reading, the music they were singing wasn't too bad (well, of course, it was Hunter and John, but the music itself was kind of fun). There were also a few girls there, but I didn't catch their names, but they sounded familiar. The reading seemed positive (the people talking to the "straight guy" afterward were all happy), anybody know anything else?

You can check when the episode will be on next by going to bravotv.com. The writer's name is Warren Loy, and the musical is called "Up in the air." During the reading featured in the episode, Hunter Foster, John Tartaglia (Who Carson referrs to as "Avenue Cute") and Kelli O'hara are all performing.

Thats all I know:) I love me some Queer Eye!

There's always room for pathos - and jazz hands.

Colin Hanlon (RENT, Michael Arden's Easter Rising reading) is also in it.

Carson Kressley is an alumnus of my college. He came to speak at our school a little over a month ago and was such a hilarious speaker and a really sweet guy. He didn't prepare anything so he basically just talked for almost two hours straight on anything that came to his mind. This man should be doing stand-up or something - he had everyone is stitches the entire time. And he even took the time to sign and pose for pictures with basically the entire campus and their parents. re: Broadway on Queer Eye

I vaguely remember that episode, but it was on before I knew who either John or Hunter were (much less became a fan!) so I didn't really pay attention. I hope I can get a chance to catch it again.

Michael Rupert (Marvin in 'Falsettos') also appears quite prominently in the episode as well.

Didn't Carson also say that J-tart was straight?

I can remember that for some reason...

Ya I saw it on Queer Eye today. And when I saw Hunter Foster I got excited, then when I saw John Tartaglia I flipped. I had just seen him on VH 1 on the cheeesiest TV personalities and he is my biggest idol on Broadway.
And sorry girls I have heard he has been in a steady relationship with a guy. I dunno though I could be wrong

One of the guys told Carson that John was in Avenue Q, and he responded with "More like Avenue Cute". And yes, on his site John talks about his boyfriend every once in a while, so, sorry ladies lol

I too enjoyed the little piece of the musical that they showed. I wish I could have heard the whole musical.
