Broadway stars at the Upright Citizens Brigage Theater this Monday the 26th!

Hello Theater-types,

You guys are all invited! Gravid Water is a monthly show that pairs stage actors with improvisers at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. We always have top improvisers from The Daily Show, 30 Rock, The Colbert Report, Conan, etc. in the show (and this show will be no different.) However, Sarah Saltzberg and Jared Gertner from The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Joel Karie from The Lion King, and Tony nominee Joanthan Kaplan will be joining us as actors.

We just moved the show, which has been running since 2004, to Mondays so that actors currently in shows on Broadway (well, not right at this moment...) could join us. We're a well-known show in NY's comedy/improv scene, but I sometimes feel the theater and improv communities are completely separate. This is a real theater-lover's show, and it's funny. Even our improvisers are theater people--Anthony King, for example, one of our regular improvisers, wrote Gutenberg! The Musical! I wanted to personally invite every one of you to come. Playbill has a little article on us, which I've linked below, and I've included a brief description. What's more, UCB is a very populist theater! We have a spectacular cast and tickets are only $5. Anway, I hope you can join us. I'm a theater-type myself, and I would love to attract more of us to this show!
